Dr. James Obiri-Yeboah is a management and Mineral Engineering expert with more than twenty-five (25) years of experience in Mineral Processing Plant Operations, research, teaching/lectureship, and consulting. His motivation is to help discover and disseminate knowledge for the enhancement of organizational performance, productivity, and profit maximization . He obtained a PhD in Management in 2014 from Swiss Management Center University, Switzerland. Dr. Obiri-Yeboah is an Examiner at the Mineral Commission Ghana responsible for Mineral Processing ( i.e. Evaluating metallurgical candidates of all levels of organizational rankings through written and oral examination as a requirement for Metallurgical license certificate).Besides, he is the Metallurgical Manager for Akroma Gold Company limited, Ghana since 2019 to date and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Minerals Engineering, University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa from April, 2023 to date. Prior to this, he was a Part-time Management Lecturer at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Takoradi Campus, Ghana from 2017 to 2018. He also worked as Adjunct Research Fellow for the Process Innovations, Tarkwa, Ghana from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, from 2005 to 2017, he rose through the ranks from Plant Metallurgist to the Unit Manager-Technical, position at Gold Fields Ghana Limited, Carbon In Leach (CIL) Plant – Tarkwa Mine. He has authored one management text book and over eighteen (18) journal articles.
